Keith Barkley Level 5 (6,432 points) Q: How to fix error 35: Unable to determine UUID I am having some issues with *long* boot times and Time machine errors on my iMac. I tried disk repair and hardware test, but they did not find anything. In fact, I have a bootcamp partition that is running fine, so it is unlikely to be a hardware issue. The above is the only error I seem to see, could this be causing the problem? Is there a way to fix it? iMac (21.5-inch Late 2009), Mac OS X (10.6.8) Posted on Dec 2, 2013 9:17 AM I have this question too Close Q: How to fix error 35: Unable to determine UUID All replies Helpful answers Page 1 of 3 last Next by Mark Jalbert, Mark Jalbert Dec 2, 2013 10:54 AM in response to Keith Barkley Level 5 (4,649 points) Dec 2, 2013 10:54 AM in response to Keith Barkley From: /usr/include/sys/errno.h/* non-blocking and interrupt i/o */ #define EAGAIN 35 /* Resource temporarily unavailable */ My best quess is the Time Machine filesystem may not be clean causing in a delay in its mounting. In any case, definitely make a backup or two of all of your data. One thing I did do was boot into safe mode. The login screen came up with a big "Safe Mode" in red letters, but I could do nothing else, none of my mouse clicks had an effect, so I had to power-switch it down. I was able to boot into Windows, from the regular drive and from the DVD with no prob

Error: 35 « on: April 24, 2009, 05:41:12 PM » Pardon the noob question but I've been searching high and low looking for what things I can add to https://discussions.apple.com/thread/5624691?tstart=0 the SMBIOS.plist. I found some items which have been very helpful (mainly about system type (i.e., iMac/Mac Pro) and memory speed, type, etc.).But I am trying to resolve the UUID issue (error 35's) that I had fixed when I was using Chameleon v1 with Superhai's SMBIOSResolver.kext. However, I was lead to believe that I no longer should be using it or any SMBIOS injector http://forum.voodooprojects.org/index.php?topic=250.0 (I think that's the right term).Again, I'm a noob so I'm trying to piece together how and where to apply the fix. I believe what I need to do now is add something to the SMBIOS.plist, the question is what. I've been searching constantly within Insanelymac forums for anyone else who has my exact problem but all the posts are from people prior to April (and thus prior to Chameleon v2).Any help would be greatly appreciated, but I am a noob so please talk slowly. For anyone watching it since its previous title: the Dev.Team confirmed that UUID from SMBIOS is not a solution. Please post only verified-working solutions. Not all hacks are built alike.
