When you attempt to export this report to Excel, it throws an Overflow error on page 23 (of 33 pages), and the report isn't exported. I exported the query that feeds the report, and it exports fine. But the report won't export and always throws this error. Does anyone know why this is happening? I tried searching for a solution, but was unable to find anything other than an explanation of data types. There aren't any special characters, all data fields are defined properly and contain the correct type of data, etc. Anybody know how to trap this error so I can see what is causing the problem? I printed the report from pages 22-24 and it printed fine. I then expanded the print range to go from 22-33, and that printed fine. I then printed the whole document, and it printed fine. Is there a different way to print the report other than running it and clicking print that will accomplish what y

After a report is generated, exporting to .rtf file (word) has no http://forums.codeguru.com/showthread.php?510082-RESOLVED-Access-2003-Export-to-Excel-Overflow-Error problem at all. However, when I export to excel sometimes the Overflow error occurs. It doesn't depend on the data size. Sometimes the error occurs on a report with small data size(about 60 pages). However, the report with different data (about 100 pages) has no problem. I've tried to find the cause of this for many days but still no clue at all for me. and this problem http://www.access-programmers.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=127360 is really urgent for me. Do anyone has experience with this? Thank you very much. How many rows are your trying to export. From the error is sounds like you are trying to export to many rows to the spreadsheet and causing an error. __________________ If my post has helped you solve your problems please add to my reputation. Solved Overflow error when sending Access report to Excel Posted on 2005-06-27 MS Access 1 Verified Solution 6 Comments overflow error 656 Views Last Modified: 2012-08-13 I have an Access 97 database. There is a report that we would like to send to Excel 2000. When we click the "Office Links" icon to send the report to Excel, we get a box that says Overflow. The pc has Excel 97 and Excel 2000 on it but we verified it sends other data from Access 97 to overflow error in Excel 2000. This same report sends to Word 2000 just fine as a rich text file. Is there another way to export this report into Excel so we can change the data or does anyone know why we would get an Overflow error. I don't believe they have any service packs installed for Access 97. 0 Question by:amkbailey Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 14 Best Solution byJohnK813 >> There are some calculations done on the report.
