I am a contractor working on a project for a remote client. I have access to their database server through Internet Explorer 9 using Citrix XenApp. My machine is Windows 7 Professional 64 bit. I have Citrix Receiver 13.1.0.89 installed.I can log into the site, but when I attempt to launch RDP, the RDP application does not launch. I was advised by my client that they recently applied a Sharepoint update. Neither of us knows whether or not this created the problem, but it seems like my issue s

Attempting to reconnect to your session Started by Jon Woods , 14 September 2010 - 08:43 PM Login to Reply 11 replies to this topic Jon Woods Members #1 Jon Woods 128 posts Posted 14 September 2010 - 08:43 PM Symptom - A remote user logs into XenApp via web browser (CitrixSecure Gateway 3.1 > Web Interface 5.2 > XenApp 5.0) and launches RDP.Upon either logging out or closing the RDP session, the session window dims and shows the message:“Reconnecting – The connection has been lost. Attempting to reconnect to your session . . . The network is not available. The connection will be reinstated when the network is available"Viewing Session Information on the Secure Gateway andthe Citrix Access Management Console, the session shows as active.Due to the changes in how Server 2008 handles logging off, I’vepreviously applied the tsdiscon %SESSIONNAME% fix per +CTX122145+. It appears that the above logoff script is disconnecting the session from the client(as it should, but now causing the above message), and then failing to properly close the session and log off the user onthe server side. This issue reared its ugly head in the last couple of weeks and I’ve been racking my brain going backwards through recent changes that mayhave contributed to this issue. Has anyone else seen this behavior or can point me in adirection? Much appreciated!
