This update resolves multiple memory corruption vulnerabilities, a heap overflow vulnerability, a use-after-free vulnerability, a buffer overflow vulnerability, a double-free vulnerability and a vulnerability in the handling of certain API calls that could all lead to remote code execution. This update also resolves vulnerabilities that could allow a security bypass and that could allow an attacker to access sensitive information. An attacker could exploit these vulnerabilities by convincing a user to open a crafted file or convince a user to visit a web page designed to submit crafted input to the affected software. Successful exploitation could allow the attacker to execute arbitrary code, bypass security restrictions, access sensitive information, or cause a DoS condition.
