Adobe Reader Error 1014
10:59 PM by pwillener Unable to save PDF to network drive "disk used for temporary files is full" amt11234 May 10, 2010 4:14 PM Hi,I just upgaded Adobe Acrobat to the current version, 9.3.2 organization-wide about a week ago. Since then, a handful of people (4 users out of 40) are having an issue adobe reader error 109 where they cannot save PDF documents to a network drive. They get the following error:"The disk you were saving to or the disk used for temporary files is full. Free some space on this disk and try again, or save to a different disk."However, they can save the file locally and drag it over to the desired network share. Can anyone tell me what this is about? I've searched online but haven't found anything useful. It doesn't make sense that most computers are able to save to a network share and others aren't - any help is appreciated! Thanks I have the same question Show 0 Likes(0) 58879Views Tags: none (add) This content has been marked as final. Paul Cooper 5 Answers Voted Best Answer Edit Answer (for another -39 minute) Some options: Clean out the temp files' directory. Check the available space on the HDD. Windows needs something like 15% free space to do its thing.Uninstall 'stuff' that isn't used but sucks up space. Install a second HDD.Use a USB HDD to store https://answers.acrobatusers.com/I-error-message-The-disk-saving-full-q2008.aspx applications' files. If the drive is on a network check your space allotment. You may need to purge some stuff. By David Austin Edit Answer (for another -38 minute) Your computer is most likely a Windows computer judging from your error message. Windows has several different areas it stores its temporary files (these are like scratch paper for doing computations). Good applications cleanup from themselves and delete their temporary files, when they are done with them. However, not all applications are so nice. You can look for temp folders off your root director (most likely c:/) and also in your own Document and Settings folder. You can select the files in these folders and delete them. Any temp files being used in these folder will not be deleted. Michael Kazlow Edit Answer (for another -27 minute) In addition to the above advice, something which often gets forgotten: Empty the trash basket.Hope this can help.
