I attempt to use Adobe Reader, I receive a popup window stating that Adobe Reader encountered a problem and must close. I cannot get beyond this point. My Adobe Reader is version 6.0. I had no problems using adobe reader with windows 98SE which I no longer have. gregofvt08-23-2003, 11:57 PMi have heard many reports of problems with acrobat reader6, and recommendations to revert to version 5. I actually use version 5 of full acrobat (not just reader). I believe reader5 could be downloaded from most download sites if adobe doesn't offer it anymore. Go to add/remove programs in Control Panel and remove all versions of Acrobat Reader you find. Reboot your computer and go to the Adobe web site and download a fresh copy of the correct version of Acrobat Reader for your system. I was able to fix problem by using windows 2000 compatibility. My a
