Which version of Reader are you using? I would remove Reader from the system, then adobe flash player run the Reader Cleaner tool (you can download it from here: http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html), then download Reader again and re-install (after rebooting the computer). After running the removal tool I rebooted the computer. I still have the same problem, I can open a PDF but I have to move the error message box out of my view.Same message stating that there is an error and Adobe Reader needs to close.I have Adobe Reader XI. This problem just started out of the blue. I adobe reader tried it and it stops working even before the print dialogue box. We do have eCopy in-house (don't ask!), so I simply made eCopy the default handler. However, I feel they should at least have a working Adobe Reader. Has anybody else encountered this? What, besides installing an alternative (Foxit, for example) can I do?
