I navigated to the download link wherein, I looked to download this 33MB monstrosity to try it out. The site downloaded an add in , something with an extension dlm( Adobe DLM).It then generated an operating system error(15219.101.220) and download did not proceed further. I repro'ed http://discuss.joelonsoftware.com/default.asp?joel.3.654754.8 the steps on 3 comps, same result. The error is documented and all, but still there is no official word to it's resolution. I wonder how there can be such a huge contrast in the product quality in products from the same company aka Photoshop and Reader.Any suggestions/comments are welcome.P.S. My default PDF reader is FOXIT reader, but it has its own quirks. V. It think everyone agrees it's better we all forget about 6. 7 was okay again (with the exception of the annoying updates. It was better than 6 at least). I haven't used pdf's enough with version 8 to notice how it does. It seems like they have two separate teams building Reader that alternate releases.
