Do let us know if it worked for you. Thanks, Atul Agarwal Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 4. If you get prompted to enter a file name every time you attempt to print from Reader then the solution is very simple. If https://techsupporttutorials.wordpress.com/2007/07/19/adobe-reader-8-print-to-file-output-file-name-problem/ this looks familiar then follow the solution below to fix it. Within https://acrobatusers.com/forum/printing-prepress/adobe-reader-9-will-not-print/ Adobe Reader Select File>Print Uncheck the box in the bottom left that says "Print to File" Click OK This should resolve the issue as Adobe Reader will now default to Print to your printer rather than default to print to a file. Thanks for the "easy button", although you could have made it SOUND a little more complicated so I wouldn't have felt so stupid for not noticing what the problem was in the first place! š bill Leventer Says: 06/17/2009 at 11:35 am Print to file was NOT checked. All other applications print just fine. Adobe 9 does not. The printer status window says that it received some data and sent it to the printer, but the printer never put the data to the page. The printer just sits there. Printer is Brother MFC3340CN. Printer has latest vista drivers. Adobe updated to latest version 9

When i want to print a pdf file (from internet and saved up my pc) i get an error. "Can not print pages", "no pages selected". Can anyone help me, please? I can print any document or jpeg that is not in a pdf format. I cannot print any pdf file, even when I try "Print As Image." The two error messages I always get is "The document cannot be printed" and "No Page Has Been Selected To Print" even though I've tried "print all" and "print current page." I've also tried "Select All" and "Copy" to a Word.doc and clipboard, and none of the formatting makes it to the new docs. Pdf Properties for the files I have been trying to print indicate that both "Copy" and "Print" functions are "Allowed."
