Adobe Reader 9. After opening a PDF document and attempted to print, I received an alert from Adobe Reader stating that there are no printers installed. This is not the case, there are several network printers installed and I'm able to print to them using other applications, such as Word, Browsers, etc. Anyone have any ideas before I uninstall this beast of a reader? Apparently I had a corrupt print driver, even though Windows XP said the printer was ready. Reinstalled driver and problem solved. Like Show 0 Likes(0) Actions 3. When I try to print paychecks using Payroll, I'm receiving an "Adobe Reader not found" error, even though I have Adobe Acrobat Pro installed. Since there is no actual print dialog or other adobe reader print/application options, the software is stuck and will not let me print my paychecks! You should select a real printer to print checks. Adobe is used to sent paystubs. Was this answer helpful? Yes No QBsguru AllStar 3 comments × Close Why do you want to report this? Spam Profanity Threats/Abuse Inappropriate Virus/Danger Broken Links Other Payroll, not regular checks. Payroll does not work like the rest of the QB software, which is very frustrating. When you click print, it automatically looks for the Adobe Reader software (instead of prompting you with a print window) and launches the PDF of the check(s) in Adobe Reader. Although I have the professional version installed, Acrobat Pro, it still gives me the error and then will not let me print. This is very poorly implemented… joetweber × Close Why do you want to report this?
