Error:Runtime Error!Program: C:\Prpgram Files\Internet Explorer\IExplore.exeThis application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contanct the application's support team for more information.Steps I am doing is:1) I am basically opening a pdf file from a website. It throws this error for the first time. After this, the IE closes.2) Now I open a new browser and do the same steps it produces the output without any error. My observation: When the PDF file is downloaded for the first time, it went to the temp folder. and IE threws up the above error message. So the nexttime when the same file is requested, the IE didn't say any error and it showed the file. Now, I deleted the pdf from the temp fo i I have the same question Show 0 Likes(0) 9884Views Tags: none (add) This content has been marked as final. Show 10 replies 1. Did you try to unistall Adobe Reader and re-install? Anything happen before the issues? Something get installed/uninstalled, some cleanup utility ran? m 0 l timw128 March 1, 2011 10:48:12 adobe reader runtime PM Thanks for the reply 'hang-the-9'- This machine is running Windows XP Professional SP3, build 2600. Yes, I uninstalled the Adobe Reader X and reinstalled. All it did was put a desk top icon up. The only items I have uninstalled were some progs I don't use anymore via Revo Uninstaller. As far as utilities go, I have used TuneUp Utilities 2010-1 in the past, but uninstalled it because it doesn't work right. I use Auslogics Boost Speed and RegCure as of now. Of note, I cannot seem to apply any extensions on the Google Chrome browser, either. I use Chrome exclusively for its speed and simplicity. That issue has something to do with drive letters and user data file path(s). Not sure if the two issues are related. m 0 l Related resources Microsoft Visual C ++ error run time - Forum VBA code run time error 1004 - Forum Run time error 40006 - Forum Youtube Playback error after certain time. - Forum time and date error on facebook - Forum Can't find your answer ? Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime library iexplore.exe error- no solution seems to work Started by pink26 , Jan 11 2009 12:57 PM Page 1 of 2 1 2 Next This topic is locked 17 replies to this topic #1 pink26 pink26 Members 9 posts OFFLINE Local time:10:16 PM Posted 11 January 2009 - 12:57 PM I have IE 7 with Windows Service Pack 3. Recently I've received the message: Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime library has encountered a runtime error with Program:C/ProgramFiles/InternetExplorer/iexplore.exe and the program closes. I've tried Mozilla Firefox and I receive a similar error and sometimes Firefox won't even come up. I tried disabling and enabling add-ons one at a time, but nothing seems to work. The error message doesn't appear on certain websites or as soon as I open IE. It occurs at random times and when I try to re-open IE, the message appears again. It works fine after I restart my computer. Please, if anyone can help.
