This may be the case, but I save downloaded pdf documents in Reader all the time. This is the first time I've encountered this problem. The document I was trying to save was my monthly statement, not a form.I will contact the bank, since it may be a problem in the way they created this particular statement. There could be a transmission issue. Instead of just clicking the link to view the PDF. I know I've done this a lot with my B of A online statements. You will get more and more of those errors. Updating the Adobe Reader is not so bad, if you do as needed when needed. But you really should do it. There were (more than) several security issues that the up dates addressed. (The loss of Data due to not updating would be worse than the trouble of the updates) The newer Docs (.pdf) are protecting you from bad bugs that had been hidding in the old versions. Again Up
