Re: Adobe Reader X error messages seymush Dec 13, 2010 8:00 AM (in response to AbhigyanModi) I am using Microsoft Security Essentials on the laptop together with the MS firewall. None of those mentioned. I use Firefox 3.6 as default browser, but I also get the problem when I open Acrobat X from the desktop icon. In some rare occasions the pdf file did not open in the past. Then I did a repair and reconfigured applications in the browser options. Still I get the same error messages. The graphics card is ATI Radeom Mobile. Is there any other software or configuration that might cause problems on the Acer laptop? Solved Could not create file mapping object Posted on 2014-01-13 Windows 7 1 Verified Solution 4 Comments 880 Views Last Modified: 2014-02-02 Our notebook adobe reader is Windows 7 64-bit. We're getting "Could not create file mapping object" error box popup almost 10 or 15 times a minute. It doesn't matter if Internet Explorer (11) is launched or not at that moment when we get the message. So it should not be confused with IE error message that has "(5)" at its end. Any idea? Thanks in advance. 0 Question by:sbayrak Facebook create file mapping Twitter LinkedIn Google LVL 1 Best Solution bysbayrak It was caused by an auto synchronization program which is triggered by a file/folder change. I also updated 32-bit and 64-bit java installations as well as Adobe Reader, etc. I uninstalled Google Chrome and Mozilla likewise, leaving IE only browser on the machine. Nothing changed but we observed that these messages start to popup when we access the internet and click any web site link(s) within any browser.
