SharePoint Reporting Services integration – this was throwing an error in the UI. However, as they were an error has occurred during report processing. (rsprocessingaborted) ssrs on SQL 2012, the advice from all the online articles about how to set this up wasn’t working as anticipated, as all those articles are based on SQL https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/sqlserver/en-US/85ce4b0b-0e23-483b-8e1d-388c778f46f8/an-error-has-occurred-during-report-processingrswindowsintegratedsecuritydisabled?forum=sqlreportingservices 2008 / R2. The issues the client was seeing in their Access Services Report was as follows. (This was found in the ULS logs) “An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted) An attempt has been made to use a data extension ‘ADS’ that is either not registered for this report server or is not supported in http://itgroove.net/mmman/2013/05/01/sharepoint-2010-access-services-reporting-with-sql-server-2012/ this edition of Reporting Services. (rsDataExtensionNotFound)” This article is the most logical starting point, however, it only describes how to handle it for SQL 2008 and 2008 R2, not 2012. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee662542.aspx Where you need to look for SQL 2012 is the following blog post. http://blog.mikehacker.net/2012/05/16/sharepoint-2010-access-services-reporting-with-sql-2012/ In there, the author identifies the following PowerShell which must be run (on the SP server with SQL 2012 installed on it). $apps = Get-SPRSServiceApplication foreach ($app in $apps) { New-SPRSExtension -identity $app -ExtensionType "Data" -name "ADS" –TypeName "Microsoft.Office.Access.Reports.DataProcessing.AdsConnection, Microsoft.Office.Access.Server.DataServer, Version=14.0.0.0, Culture=Neutral, PublicKeyToken=71e9bce111e9429c" } They also refer to the technet article (above) and say the very vague “the specific modifications can be found towards the bottom of this TechNet article”. What I ended up doing was adding the following to the end of the rsreportserver.config file (note, one article says rsreportserver.config, the other says rssrvpolicy.config, in my case, I had files named “rsreportserver”).
Windows integrated security. Windows integrated security is either disabled for this report server or your report server is using Trusted Account mode. (rsWindowsIntegratedSecurityDisabled) We were getting above error when trying to http://sharepointfamily.blogspot.com/2014/12/an-error-has-occurred-during-report.html open the reports in Sharepoint where everythign seemed to be configured correctly http://customer.argussoftware.com/s.nl/ctype.KB/it.I/id.879543/KB.3241/.f SP 2010 integration with Report server in Sharepoint Mode, Authentication was correct, reports were correct as was working fine in other environment and Sql server report server was showing integrated secuirty enabled. Here is the solution that worked in our case. 1) This is related to permission issue. cannot create Open IIS manager, click on the site, click authentication and make sure you have the Windows and ASP.Net impersonation enabled on the site.Try to enabled Anonymous access for few mins and then do the iisreset. Once you do that and after few min, you will see that reports started opening without any errors. Once you conform its working, stop cannot create a the Anonymous and restart the IIS again. Once you do that, you will see site reports opening without any issue. Sometime it is related to access to a folder or some settings that needs to be enabled but hard to find where is that the reports are looking for. Hope it helps people struglling with this isse as i was .:) Posted by BhupinderJit Singh at 8:37 PM Email ThisBlogThis!Share to TwitterShare to FacebookShare to Pinterest No comments: Post a Comment Newer Post Older Post Home Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom) Blog Archive ► 2016 (1) ► May (1) ► 2015 (11) ► July (1) ► June (2) ► May (2) ► April (1) ► March (5) ▼ 2014 (21) ▼ December (4) An error has occurred during report processing. I receive the following error message when running the SSRS reports: An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted) Solution: Couple of things to check, first and foremost the data source for the SSRS reports · Make sure the option “credential stored securely in the report server” is selected · Confirm the ID and Password · Make sure “Use as Windows credential…” is selected If that doesn’t resolve the issue, make sure the user is a member of a group (or single user) that has been granted BROWSER Role permissions on the SSRS Server. · Open SQL Mgmt Studio · Connect to the Reporting Server · Select HOME > Properties · Add Domain/Users group for example and select Browser role
