I have a website system exception cannot create activex component buit, that uses Acrobat Pro 8to open PDF. Workd great on my develope computer. Running VS 2005/vb.net. Butwhen It goes up on the IIS server, and Itry to open a .pdf, I get the error. http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1847444/asp-net-cannot-create-activex-component I havr tried tt register the DLL with regsvr32. But I keep getting an error that says error registering. I'm not 100% percent what file I'm suppose to be grabing. I have 3 dll's that I brougt into VS. I try to register those, it fails. There are so many difffrent locations, I'm not asure what file I need, or what it wants? Any thoughts? Thanks! Which DLL did you register on the server? Which DLLs have you brought into VS? Post more details. In case you are using the objects of Acrobat Pro 8 for opening the PDF doc on the server, you will have to install Acrobat Pro 8 on the server. Dim mycadAp As AcadApplicationmycadAp = CreateObjec(AutoCAD.Application) mycadAp.Visible = TRUE When creating the application for first time, it works fine. Loads the Autocad correctly. But for second time if run the application the following runtime error is occuring. Cannot create ActiveX component at the CreateObject line. I cant predict what is the problem. I've included the following references in my program. Imports Autodesk.AutoCAD.InteropImports Autodesk.AutoCAD.Interop.CommonPlease help me in this.
