SteveDude Kilo Poster Messages: 31 I'm running Virtuozzo 4 on a Windows 2003 Enterprise R2 server and I have had nothing but problems with it. Not any issues in v3. I cannot reboot any container and then connect via RDP. If I reboot the hardware node I get this... After rebooting the hardware node I am getting a Code 422 - Named Pipe connection failed, error #2[The system cannot find the file specified.] Had multiple tech guys, muliple times work on this, they fix the problem (get everything running), but any reboots and the problems start all over. Was told it was some firewall settings, They fixed all that, but now my system is down again and cannot access any sites. SteveDude, Mar 28, 2008 #1 SteveDude Kilo Poster Messages: 31 Got it running by rebuilding the Service container, but I still have one Container (101) which Virtuozzo says it is running fine, but I cannot login RDP, or access any sites on it. This has been a consistant problem, that tech support has fixed several times, but I have tried all of their posted tricks (making sure Windows Firewall is off and it is managed though VZ, etc...) and no luck. SteveDude, Mar 28, 2008 #2 swadmin Kilo Poster Messages: 15 I got the very same error on Virtuozzo 4 when running Management Console. I believe it started after applying the latest Windows updates. Named Pipe connection failed, error #2 [The system cannot find the file specified. swadmin, Mar 30, 2008 #3 swadmin Kilo Poster Messages: 15 I re-installed the service VE but I am still getting this error: Named Pipe connection failed, error #2 [The system cannot find the file specified. ] VZCP & VZPP are not working - "Application Error". swadmin, Mar 30, 2008 #4 wsani Guru Messages: 607 Great... sounds like some crappy bug that has broken everything. I now have a bunch of errors including Your Parallels Infrastructure Manager installation is incomplete or broken when I visit the PIM. wsani, Mar 31, 2008 #5 SteveDude Kilo Poster Messages: 31 Before I rebuilt the container I turned off VZVPN in the taskbar, but did this first... cd c:\windows\system32 net stop ipnat net stop sharedaccess net stop policyagent The problem started for me immediately after installing a Windows Update (from Parallels not MS) and then rebboting the system. Keeping my fingers crossed, but so far so good. Steve
