The error "Cannot create a file when that file already exists" cannot create a file when that file already exists python appears instantly when I attempt to launch the game. I've verified integrity of game cache via Steam, uninstalled and reinstalled, updated to the latest video drivers, no change. I've seen that the game should be saving debug data to a file under My Documents\My Games\Gratuitous Space Battles, but no such folder exists. Any hints on what to try? The game (under windows) writes debug files to my documents\my games\democracy 3\debug. Those logs may help. If you can't work out what it is, email cliff AT positech dot co dot uk with those debug logs attached and I shall investigate. #1 CaptainGPro View Profile View Posts Feb 6, 2014 @ 1:54pm Hi thanks for answering. I just downloaded the game today for windows and after installing the game I go and hit play and the only thing that will pop up is the error message then after I hit ok it closes.
