= inet_addr("10.171.xx.xx"); service.sin_port = htons(27015); Now a client application on same machine uses connect() to connect to the server application get error 10061 https://www3.trustwave.com/support/kb/KnowledgebaseArticle12989.aspx (WSAECONNREFUSED) when the IP Address used is loopback address (127.0.0.1). clientService.sin_family = AF_INET; clientService.sin_addr.s_addr = inet_addr( "127.0.0.1" ); clientService.sin_port = htons( DEFAULT_PORT); The same way, when an application using UDP protocol uses recvfrom() on NIC’s address, like below: RecvAddr.sin_family = AF_INET; RecvAddr.sin_port = htons(Port); RecvAddr.sin_addr.s_addr = https://blogs.msdn.microsoft.com/winsdk/2012/09/06/connect-fails-with-error-10061-wsaeconnrefused-datagram-sent-via-sendto-lost-loopback-address/ inet_addr("10.171.xx.xx"); And the UDP sender running on same machine is sending the datagram on loopback address (127.0.0.1), the packet does not get received by the receiver, sent on same port. RecvAddr.sin_family = AF_INET; RecvAddr.sin_port = htons(Port); RecvAddr.sin_addr.s_addr = inet_addr("127.0.0.1"); This is happening on Windows Vista onwards Operating System, while it used to be working on earlier versions of OS. This is design change on Windows Vista onwards, Strong host model vs WeAk host model. Windows Vista onwards, we have strong host model on by default on all interfaces. This can also be a problem if you connect() to a real IP address on interface A and the packets are trying to go out another interface, Interface B. This can occur when the default route points to Interface B. Please check for more details- http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/magazine/2007.09.cableguy.aspx Attached is th
the presence of firewall or anti-virus software on the local computer or network connection. Either can block the ports needed to make a successful FTP connection to the remote server. For a regular FTP session, http://help.globalscape.com/help/cuteftp8/Socket_errors_10060_10061_10064_10065.htm either disable the firewall or anti-virus software or configure them to allow CuteFTP to establish an FTP session over ports 20 and 21. Consult the documentation or help file for your specific firewall or antivirus software http://www.hivmr.com/db/xp78adap1119p7sdf9zzcfdkm9cx1cpd product for instructions. Usually the manufacturer of the device or software will also have specific instructions available on their Web site. If you continue to receive the same error after insuring ports 20 and 21 are error 10061 open, contact the administrator of the site you are trying to connect to. For more error code information, refer to Knowledge Base article 10140 at http://kb.globalscape.com. WSAETIMEDOUT (10060) 10060 is a connection-timeout error that usually appears when the client does not receive a response from the server for a specific command. This error often occurs when you try to connect in PASV mode to a server that prefers PORT for data connections. If mailmarshal error 10061 you see an error log similar to the one below, in the Site Properties of the problem site, click the Type tab, then change the Data Connection Type to Use PORT. COMMAND:> PASV 227 Entering Passive Mode (xxx,xx,xxx,xx,x,xxx). COMMAND:> LIST STATUS:> Connecting ftp data socket xxx.xx.xxx.xx:xxxx... ERROR:> Can't connect to remote server. Socket error = #10060. ERROR:> Failed to establish data socket. If you still receive a 10060 error, the server may be trying to send a listing for a very large directory (with many thousands of files) causing the client to time-out while waiting. Try increasing the time-out value in the Global Options dialog box (Tools > Global Options > Transfer > Reconnect and resume in [ n ] seconds if nothing received ) to a higher value, such as 45 or 60 seconds. The connection fails due to an error or timeout. Verify that the destination IP address is correct. Increase the connection timeout threshold under Global Settings > Connection. Switch to the opposite data connection type (PASV or PORT) under Site Settings > Type tab. Verify that the problem is not local by trying to connect to an alternate server. If a server name was used, verify it resolves to the correct address. If using a local server table for server name resolution, che
processing in parallel. I have a situation in which1. I need to configure jboss to only allow message to be delivered once to queue and if some failures occurs, it should not retry.. Can you please let me where I need to configure to set retry threshold to 0 (zero) possibly??2. Also after the first message delivery if in any case transaction fails, I would like that the Jboss should not send the message again to same queue again with failed message. Instead it should directly send to DLQ .. Is it possible?? if so by some configurations or programmaticaly and how.??Many thanks in advance.. DB:2.89:Stop Voicemail From Delivering To Email? pf That's unified messaging... we don't have a proprietary private mail store we synch with the user's inboxes. We actually use the inbox of the subscriber to store/retrieve voice mail and other messages from. If you want voice mail only boxes you can create seperate mailboxes hidden from the address book and use those for your Unity subscribers for folks that don't want to see voice mail in their inbox for whatever reason.
