make: *** [src/HelloWorldRpi.o] Error 127
src/subdir.mk:18: recipe for target `src/HelloWorldRpi.o' failedIt's a make error 127 which supposedly stands for unknown command, though make doesn't https://www.eclipse.org/forums/index.php/t/523132/ specify which command is unknown.Cygwin seems to know where make and arm-unknown-linux-gnueabi-g++ are:Code: Select all$ make -v

Actually what's weird is that arm-unknown-linux-gnueabi-g++ doesn't return a single thing, even when the version is requested. Any help to get this sorted will be greatly appreciated.Jean Posts: 6Joined: Mon Jan 21, 2013 8:15 pm by jjackowski » Tue Aug 13, 2013 11:42 pm That error is usually caused by the system not finding some library that a program, gcc in this case, needs. I'm sure its giving back error 127 when you request the version, too. It might be that a required path isn't in the path environment variable. Try running it some other way, like from the Windows command prompt, or even explorer. You might get a better error. Some things will eat the error; I've seen Java do this when running commands, and I think Cygwin has the same issue. This kind of fun is why I don't run Windows at home. Thx Unless you install the build-essential metapackage, you won't have g++ on your system. In a terminal windoe, do the following: sudo aptitude install build-essential. This will install the most common packages needed to compile programs from source code. rvickersNovember 11th, 127 in linux 2006, 03:27 AMOk, thanks... mkrahmehApril 20th, 2008, 08:07 PMthe

Apr 19, 2007 - 11:33 PM Fivestar widget 12345Total votes: 0 I just installed avr32 studio and am working through the example of hello world from the AT32UC3-SoftwareLibrary-1.0.0.zip This is probably some sort of install error on my part but when i try to build the project i get the following errors in the eclipse console: **** Build of configuration Debug for project HelloWorld **** make -k all make: echo: Command not found make: *** [dip204.o] Error 127 make: echo: Command not found make: *** [dip204_example.o] Error 127 make: echo: Command not found make: *** [gpio.o] Error 127 make: echo: Command not found make: *** [spi.o] Error 127 make: Target `all' not remade because of errors. Build complete for project HelloWorld I tried loading a cygwin console and get a response from: make -? so i know at least cygwin can see make. in the problems perspective i get this error: Severity and Description Path Resource Location Creation Time Id make: *** [dip204.o] Error 127 HelloWorld line 0 1177021265250 14 and these warnings: Severity and Description Path Resource Location Creation Time Id Invalid project path: Include path not found (\usr\include). HelloWorld pathentry 1177019852140 10 Invalid project path: Include path not found (\usr\include\w32api). HelloWorld pathentry 1177019852140 11 Invalid project path: Include path not found (\usr\lib\gcc\i686-pc-cygwin\3.4.4\include). HelloWorld pathentry 1177019852140 9 I'm running this on windows xp and previously had been doing development in eclipse. Has anyone run into this problem? This seems like it has to be path problems and or cygwin problems. I ran the AVR32Studio check environment command from the help menu and it finds the items looked for and says everything looks good. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks! Randy Rainwater Tags:Tools, In-System Debuggers and Programmers Log in / register to post comments Top wrr01 Level: New Member Joined: Thu.
