I have tried several combinations of registering, rebooting, starting protection, with and without Avira (and Winpatrol)running, cleaning and re-installing, rebooting without activating, etc.I can load the program. I can update the program. I can scan with the program.I can register the program. If I try to start the protection module after registration I get an open event code 2 error message. If I reboot without starting the protection module, but after registering, error 127 iesetup.dll the icon will show in the task tray momentarily and then display the code 2 error. If I try to start the protection module after rebooting and receiving the code 2 error, I receive a code 1073 error even though the protection tab says the module is disabled and there is no icon in the task tray.Any ideas?Did you see anything in the logs that would lead you to believe there is any kind of virus or malware on this system? Is it possible that any of the game tweaks my son loaded could be doing this?(not necessarily viral, but invasive/destructive/changing settings)Nothing else seems to be affected. As I said earlier, all the other protection programs I was running would load, run and update without problems. I'm not getting redirects or excessive spam while browsing. Other than being a very large file, I had no issues updating Windows either. Please let me know. All I can go by is the logs you provide and steps you do.It very well could be from damage to the OS from Malware that we'll never be able to repair or it could be one of the programs is blocking MBAM
