Adobe Premiere Pro Cs6 Mpeg 2 Codec Download
CC 2014 by Alan Knight on Apr 26, 2015 at 2:31:47 pm adobe media encoder cs6 (6.0.1) update Dear video experts, This weekend I'm getting back into a video project I started a while back and
Convert Mpeg To Mp4
for some reason, a bunch of MPG files which I had ripped and converted from DVDs (probably using VOB2MPG) are no longer importing in Premiere Pro CC 2014. I get the https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Kc9h0RjzU9E message "There was an error decompressing audio or video." When I tried to play them in WMP, I only heard audio so.... I installed Windows 8 Codec Pack and now they play fine in WMP but they still will NOT import in Premiere Pro CC 2014. I tried uninstalling PP CC 2014 latest version (8.2) and therefore reverting back to version 8.0.0 https://forums.creativecow.net/thread/3/965448 and it did not help. Please note that they dont import in Media Encoder nor After Effects either. Yet these were importing fine last year. Another option I tried was to start over and try importing VOBs directly into Premiere by first copying them to my HDD and then doing Import-->Import Folder (and selecting the VIDEO_TS folder) but I got the error that "file format not supported". So while I was able to import VOBs directly in the past, as well as open my old MPG files, I can now do neither of those things in the Adobe environment. Any assistance would be GREATLY appreciated! :)Return to posts indexReport Post •Re: MPGs and VOBs no longer import in my Premiere Pro CC 2014by Alan Knight on Apr 26, 2015 at 4:04:25 pmPROBLEM SOLVED! Posting my own solution here... Uninstall and reinstall the big 3: After Effects, Premiere, and Media Encoder. All functionality of .VOB and .MPG2 imports restored. :)Return to posts indexReport Post<< PREVIOUS • VIEW ALL • PRINT • NEXT >>© 2016 CreativeCOW.net All Rights Reserved[TOP]

I have re-installed the OS, installed premier cs6 again. But this time it is reporting error in importing same video files. Video files are in mpg format and they are well running directly. ERROR : "There was an error decompressing audio or video." EDIT: Somewhere I found that SysWOW64/quartz.dll is required to tell OS about mpg files. This file is installed via directx. I am surprised that error decompressing audio directx was already installed but the file was missing. And when I installed same OS on my different machine quartz.dll was there. Well!! I copied the dll to my this machine and registered it. Still the problem persist. I also have installed K-lite codec pack and Media info. But :( As an alternative solution, I linked mp4 files in my premier project. But they don't run smooth in adobe which makes video editing impossible. Please help me to run mpg files in adobe premier. adobe-premiere share|improve this question edited Oct 13 '13 at 2:43 asked Oct 6 '13 at 16:38 Amit Gupta 202721 It can be codec problem. Try installing codecs, such as K-Lite Codec pack. And tell us if it worked :) –Jet Oct 6 '13 at 16:40 It must be because it is able to import mp4 files. But I have installed K-lite Codec pack, Media info. Nothing works. And I am able to run mpg files directly. –Amit Gupta Oct 6 '13 at 16:44 it seems that quartz.dll is missing. But when I check DirextX version, it says it is installed and it is v11. :( –Amit Gupta Oct 6 '13 at 17:46 Have you downloaded quartz.dll and placed it on program's folder? –Jet Oct 6 '13 at 20:31 1 Have you REGISTERED (not replace) quartz.
