MikeITX Guest Posted January 16th, 2010, 7:47 am Sorry - this is a major bug in TB3 and is not due to the server. I've seen many reports of it, in Thunderbird AND Postbox. I've been using TB3 since it came out AND run my own IMAP server. Never had the problem till a few weeks ago then - bang - can't save to sent folder anymore. Suddenly clients, using servers from many different ISPs, can't save to sent folders either (Google, local ISPs, etc) I had made no changes to my email server.I've tried many potential solutions. Reducing cached connection count to 1 (no help), redirecting sent mail to a new folder (no help) removing all .msf files for Sent (no help - even wiped out ALL my cached files for the IMAP folders - no help) This is becoming a major headache not only for me as a user, but for clients that I switched to THunderbird 3 because it was such a great client. AS I gather more debug info I'll post to any bug report that may exist (haven't found it yet) crescentkelly Posts: 6Joined: January 5th, 2010, 1:29 pm Posted January 16th, 2010, 2:23 pm

Likely this means some other process is interfering with the install. To get around this I restarted my machine and closed all other running processes. Thus, you would see it on draft folders and sent folders. Try disabling IDLE in TB3 and see if that fixes it. Good luck.
