imported the database ( phpmyadmin ) Created database user I have set all the permissions for folders to 777 ( folders mentioned in the moving a site ) Cleared all the cache files - then copied to Archive ( zip ) all files Uploaded Archive and decompressed. Changed config/site.php to show new changes (top 4 defines) define('DB_SERVER', 'localhost'); define('DB_USERNAME', 'new-username'); define('DB_PASSWORD', 'new-password'); define('DB_DATABASE', 'new-database-name'); define('PASSWORD_SALT', 'gcGvGPaIHCvoU1JYtVBSaubEHblahblahblah'); Site doesn't work ( soccerelectronics.com) Unable to connect to database I think that migration from local to server should be way simpler - Is there an Add-on to collect everything from local and then do clean install on server? This is very frustrating. I have done this before by doing Concrete install first then going through and re-adding all packages and importing ( drop tables ) and I have had it work before but that is a lot of work where copying the exact files should work. Very frustrating. INTcommunicationsDate Joined: 04/23/13Karma: 2,575Answers:8Bio:View Profile View Repl

An Error Occurred While Processing Your Request
2013 at 12:05 PM Im reaching out because Ive recently setup a test site on another hosting provider as a backup to my current site. I've created a sub-domain on the new hosting site to https://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/installation/unable-to-connect-to-database.-a-database-error-occurred-while-p accomplish this. I've moved all of my files to the correct sub-folder on the new hosting company, maintaining the same directory structure. I've backed up my concrete 5 db and imported to the new site. I've also modified all of the db info(name, username and password) to the correct info and updated this in my site.php file. I'm at a loss as to why the error message "Unable to connect to database., https://www.concrete5.org/community/forums/installation/unable-to-connect-to-database-error a database error occurred while processing this request.", is appearing and I need help solving this. Thanks in advance for all of your help. ahargettDate Joined: 01/11/13Karma: 65Answers:0Bio:View Profile View Replies: Threaded Chronological (Earliest First) Chronological (Recent First) johnpaulb replied on Jan 11, 2013 at 12:43 pm Permalink Reply Hello ahargett, I recommend checking the database information again. After importing the database, you have to create a new database user, then add the user to the database. This step is required, since users are not typically imported with the database. Then confirm that this new user is updated in the php settings. Also make sure your Hostname is: localhost If it is still not working, your host may be experiencing issues with some of its services, particularly SQL. I hope this helps, -John-Paul ahargett replied on Jan 11, 2013 at 3:23 pm Permalink Reply Thanks John-Paul. I actually figured out that the issue had to do with my database server information that was entered in the site.php file. I updated it to reflect the information of my new db server name and it worked correctly but now my site is throwing me more errors related to php. About Contact Us Select Page Exchange 2013 DAG: Can't add a database copy - "Seeding operation failed" by Brian Scheewe | Aug 13, 2015 | Exchange, Microsoft | 2 comments We had an issue when http://www.adnsolutions.com/exchange-2013-dag-cant-add-a-database-copy-seeding-operation-failed/ attempting to add a database copy for any mailbox databases in a new DAG. We http://stackoverflow.com/questions/6152832/php-error-an-error-occurred-while-processing-this-directive received one of the following errors every time, regardless of the source or destination server. The seeding operation failed. Error: An error occurred while running prerequisite checks. Error: The specified database isn't configured for replication and therefore cannot be used to perform seed operations. The seeding operation failed. Error: An error error occurred occurred while performing the seed operation. Error: An error occurred while processing a request on server ‘MailboxServerName'. Error: Database ‘6060c9ac-363a-4e52-a02e-ba749625e8ea' was not active on source server ‘MailboxServerName'. [Database: Test3, Server: MailboxServerName.domain.com] After closing out the dialog box we found that the database showed multiple copies, but that the copy was in a failed and/or suspended state. We troubleshot this and found error occurred while that the client's several domain controllers were not replicating information as quickly as we were used to. To help with this, we set the preferred domain controller to a global catalog DC residing in the same network using the following command: Set-ADServerSettings -PreferredServer server.domain.com This seemed to help some other minor ECP errors where we felt like IIS was thinking faster than AD could keep up, but this did not remove the errors we saw when creating a database copy. The solution was to walk away and wait for about 30 minutes and on return we found that some of the mailboxes cleaned up on their own and went to a healthy state. For the majority that didn't resolve themselves we fixed them in ECP by selecting the database and on the right pane click "Update" under the database copy that failed. In the dialog box that followed we did not specify a source server, continued, and the mailbox replicated successfully. If we failed to wait, and clicked "Update" right after one of the errors, the re-seeding would fail, so be patient! 2 Comments Louis Dobson on April 13, 2016 at 6:29 pm Just having the same, so that's reassuring! I request this file with ajax, to be able to display the number of results the search returns right after the user changes some selects. This works just fine on a local host, but it doesn't on a production server, and since I had no idea what was wrong (no visible errors) I called the php script directly, to see whether it has any errors or not. what I get is [an error occurred while processing this directive] The php includes 2 files, the database connection info, and some initialization stuff. I used relative path, and both files are at the correct location, with correct permissions. I checked the error log, and since there's nothing in there. I googled this, but nothing concrete came up, and ATM I have no idea how to get around this. Please advise! php ajax share|improve this question asked May 27 '11 at 13:22 adamors 2,28221939 add a comment| 5 Answers 5 active oldest votes up vote 0 down vote accepted Step 1: Enable Error Printing in PHP In order to find out the bug, enable errors for your PHP. From http://www.bradino.com/php/error-reporting/: ini_set('display_errors',1); error_reporting(E_ALL|E_STRICT); If that doesn't work, edit php.ini (see http://php.net/manual/en/errorfunc.configuration.php) and set: display_errors=1 If you don't know where your php.ini is located use: And locate "configuration file (php.ini) path". For visual instructions, see: http://www.php-scripts.com/20050909/8/ Step 2: Debug your Apache / Web Server Log If you still don't get any errors in PHP, the problem has to be with web server: If you are using Apache, locate access.log and error.log and see if they contain messages related to this issue.
