Verify that the specified log file location exists and is writable." How can I fix this? Solution: This has to do with install logging. We are not sure what causes it, but you can make this problem go away by turning on "Install Logging". To turn on ‘Install Logging" please follow the instructions at the link below, which is to an article on Microsoft's Knowledge Base: http://www.tecplot.com/knowledgebase/2011/06/13/error-opening-installation-log-file/ http://support.microsoft.com/kb/314852 Please send us the log file that is mentioned in Microsoft's article.
