I have a saved recording (audacity files) in a https://bugs.kdenlive.org/view.php?id=3003 data folder. I was attempting to move the recording from my internal HD to an external, so I copied the Audacity Project File (193KB) and the files filename.aup.bak to the external HD. I then sent the originals of those two files to the error opening trash & later emptied the trash. When I tried to open the Audacity Project File from my external drive, Audacity opened, but I got the error message couldnt find the project data folder: filename_data I located the project data folder of the same name on my internal HD & it still has the individual audacity error opening wav files (b00000 thru b01355) each 1,037KB in size. My question is, how can I relink the Audacity Project File and .aup.bak back to the data folder?? Thank you for the assistance, James __________________________________ Yahoo! The next day tried to open it again and got the error message above. I opened the .kdenlive project file in a text editor and noticed html entities in it, like < and " In a process of elimination I tracked down which clip file caused the corruption. It turned out to be a MP3 audio file ( find it attached ). The issue was specifically with the MP3 metadata. To fix the problem I opened the MP3 file on Audacity and removed all its Metadata ( Go File -> Export | Give a name to the output file | The metadata window pops up ).Steps To ReproduceREPRODUCE: Attached MP3 file: https://www.dropbox.com/s/ds5hf9stiqyjwos/soccer_crowed.mp3?m [^] 1. The issue is related with id3 tag names containing white spaces. This results in invalid kdenlive project files (xml attributes using spaces for those tags). It seems it has been fixed in current development version. To fix this
