Views Last Modified: 2013-11-29 Dear Experts, I have configured squirrelmail with Courier IMAP on RHEL 4. The problem is that when I am trying to login on Squirrelmail,it is giving a error message that is given below: Error opening ../data/default_pref Default preference file not found or not readable! Please contact your system administrator and report this error. I have that default_pref file in ccleaner the data folder of the squirrelmail folder. The location is : /usr/local/squirrelmail/data/default_pref. The data folder contains 2 files.One is default_pref.Another one is index.php. The contents of the default file is given below: full_name= reply_to= chosen_theme=. ./themes/default_theme.php show_html_default=0 folder_sizes_on_folder_page=1 folder_sizes_left_link=1 folder_sizes_subtotals=1 The permission given to this default_pref file is -rwxrwxrwx. File owner is Apache File group is Apache Please help me out to solve this problem and let me know whether any additional configurations are to be made.
