Following are the steps to reproduce the issue: 1. Select scanner with "ShowTainUI = true" and start scan 2. When Scanner settings screen displays say "Cancel", 3. try to start the scan again error pop ups: Saying "error opening data source". If user says cancel in any stage, it should cancel the job and should be ready to re scan. Please let me know if there is any fix for this. Mike L Junior Member Joined: Mar 30, 2005 Messages: 4 Likes Received: 0 I've been using my Epson 1200U (USB) scanner on Windows 98 for several years with https://github.com/tmyroadctfig/twaindotnet/issues/23 no problems, but now when I attempt to scan into any application, I get "Error opening data source." When I try to select the source in any application, I get "Error opening data source manager." I've removed the scanner from the Device Manager and reinstalled the driver, and still get the error messages. The scanner seems to power https://forums.anandtech.com/threads/scanner-problem.1564016/ on just as in the past. I've also unplugged the power cord, waited a minute, and plugged it back in. When I check the driver in the Device Manager, it says it's operating properly. I've done a search on Google and several forums, but there doesn't seem to be much information available. Other than installing a few games and game controller for my nephew, I haven't made any changes recently. I'm hoping someone can help me figure out how to solve this. Thanks. #1 Mike L, Mar 30, 2005 jackschmittusa Diamond Member Joined: Apr 16, 2003 Messages: 5,979 Likes Received: 0 Tried re-installing the TWAIN driver? #2 jackschmittusa, Mar 30, 2005 Mike L Junior Member Joined: Mar 30, 2005 Messages: 4 Likes Received: 0 Yes, I reinstalled the TWAIN driver (latest from Epson's site) twice. #3 Mike L, Mar 30, 2005 trickytraka Member Joined: Mar 21, 2005 Messages: 45 Likes Received: 0 I hope you unistalled before reinstalling ... Do you still use Windows98? #4 trickytraka, Mar 30, 200

Topic: "Error Opening Data Source Scribe.DynamicsCrm5.Adapter.DynamicsCrmDatabase" Tags: Hi, After upgrading Scribe from 7.0.2 to 7.5, weencounter the below error when running the jobs in Scribe Console. "Error Opening Data Source Scribe.DynamicsCrm5.Adapter.DynamicsCrmDatabase" The jobs run fine in WorkBench. Has anyone come across this error? Thanks. Posted by Dat T on May 31, 2012 06:28PM Hi Dat, It sounds like the issue mentioned in this thread: https://openmind.scribesoft.com/topics/message-processor-fails-during-the-initialization- However, as opposed to hotfixing, I would recommend upgrading to our 7.5.1 version, which includes that hotfix. Here is a download link and install instructions can be found there as well: https://openmind.scribesoft.com/html/insight_download Posted by Jacob Horwath (jacob.horwath@scribesoft.com) on May 31, 2012 07:08PM Hi Jacob, I tried the hotfix but it didn't help. Then, I upgraded scribe to 7.5.1 but I still have the same error message. Any other suggestions?
