TECHNOLOGY IN THIS DISCUSSION Join the Community! Creating your account only takes a few minutes. Join Now Hey guys, I was checking out my ASA yesterday and noticed the Flash LED is lit in green, not blinking. Since I've never seen that LED lit before, I connected to the device over SSH and tried to save the configuration, both to flash memory and to an TFTP server. This fails with the following messages ciscoasa5510# wr mem Building configuration... Cryptochecksum: a7e4e541 26f2faa9 7029231c 9a5d2a83 %Error writing disk0:/.private/startup-config (I/O error) Error executing command [FAILED] ciscoasa5510# copy run tftp Source filename [running-config]? After trying to save to a TFTP server, a file is created in the root directory and named ciscoasa5510, but the file is empty. Trying to save the configuration via ASDM results in the same errors. I have some settings configured on this ASA that I would really prefer not to have to reconfigure again if I can help it. Any help on how I can get this configuration saved to my TFTP server and also to the startup config? Right now, there is no startup config showing even though I know for a fact that I've been saving the configuration every time that I've made any major change to it. Any ideas?
