Every time I run the install it will get to about %85 and then give me "error opening file for writing" and it is c:\windows\system32\msvcr110.dll I am running windows 7 64bit and the program is Bruteforce Save Data 4.7.4 I have tried everything I could think of to fix this including every message on their forum and anything I could find through google but still no luck. I have not gotten this error before so I don't even know what would cause it. Some people say it happens when the .dll is missing, but it is there. Other people say it is a permissions issue but I am running an admin account and ran the installer as admin. The file seems to be part of visual basic or Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable, which I installed trying to fix this. The program itself is a save file editor for playstation 3. Is there anything you can think of that I could try? thank you StrahdOmega, #1 2015/11/23 retiredlearner SuperGeek WindowsBBS Team Member Joined: 2004/06/25 Messages: 4,723 Likes Received: 263 Trophy Points: 1,093 Location: New Zealand Computer Experience: intermediate Hi StrahdOmega, Have you read this story?
