Chrome.exe *32 Multiple Processes Started by mdowling , Nov 02 2014 04:25 PM This topic is locked 13 replies to this topic #1 mdowling mdowling Members 7 posts OFFLINE Local time:04:34 AM Posted 02 November 2014 - 04:25 PM So I opened task manager the other day and noticed that there was an ever-changing list of processes labeled: Flzvnbcuzs.exe *32 labeled as by Google Chrome. I figured the process name in and of itself was pretty suspicious so I checked the file location and it led to: C:\Users\Matthew\AppData\LocalLow\pybcbjl\hyfppxuol\Flzvnbcuzs.exe and I looked around in these folders and all of them had random gibberish names. I troobleshooted for a bit around first by uninstalling google chrome and google drive and anything related to Google but the processes were still there. And someone said uninstalling uTorrent would do something, so I did, and the processes were no longer in task manager, so I proceeded to delete the file location of the processes (which it previously wouldn't have allowed me to do because the file was open and running). Upon doing so the processes immediately reappeared in task manager and the new file location became: C:\User

Earliar today after my computer had been idle for some time. I noticed a process wanted to make changes to my computer. Upon further review I noticed that it was recognized as "Windows Command Processor" I looked at the certificates that expired back in 2011. After closing it out I received 2 more message boxes giving me notifications which I promptly exited via the red ex in the upper left corner. Immediately after the box disappeared the original Windows Command Processor notification came back saying it would like to make changes. I opened up my process tab and notice there were 10-15 programs all running at once with the same name as the description as "Google Chrome" I don't use Google Chrome. I tried removing them and ending the processes and the task tree both which failed and the process started up again. I ran several virus scans including Norton and Malwarebytes Premium which did not find or come up with anything giving me the message "No Threats Detected" I restarted my computer and it seemed to stop. Only to happen again 10-15minutes later. I restarted a third time but it has yet to happen yet(Ive only had the time to get onto the forums to post this). I have run FRST and will Include The Logs.Scan result of Farbar Recovery Scan Tool (FRST.txt) (x64) Version: 25-12-2014Ran by Alex (administrator) on MININT-2P8R7EM on 25-12-2014 23:42:32Running from C:\Users\Alex\DesktopLoaded Profile: Alex (Available profiles: Alex)Platform: Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 (X64) OS Language: English (United States)Internet Expl
