I have tried "run as administrator" as well as running it normally. All my flight sim programs are installed on a single drive and the path for FSX is F:\Microsoft Flight Simulator X. I have run the Registry Path Tool to ensure that the registry is pointing to the correct folder for FSX. The install program creates a folder called "F:\Microsoft Flight Simulator ", which has nothing in it. It also created the FSDT directory which is populated and everything in there seems to work except the pdf doc files. It seems it is trying to install into an icorrect location for FSX and that is why the error is being produced. Any help or advice would be greatfuly recieved. If you need more info on my system and software let me know. Thanks Alex Ta

I am running XP SP1 with FSX, and I keep trying to http://forum.apollo3.com/forum/games/fsinn-support/199-fscopilot-and-fsinn-installation-issue down load FScopilot 1.7, but just when its about to finish I get a error message "Error opening file for writing G:\flight Sim\modules\FSCopilot.dll". I press ingnore, but then I can down load FSInn 1.3 because it tells me I need FS copilot. I'm sure you're having the problem because of a loaded fscopilot module from a previous FSX session. If you reboot, then try your install you wouldn't get that error message. -- L. James -- L. D. This program basically sorts out the location of fsx.exe on the registry. I have had the same problem after and reinstall and now fsinn/fscopilot work without a hitch.
