Error Opening Installation Log File Kaspersky
MarcoB » Tue Sep 24, 2013 12:00 pm Hi to all, this is my first post and I hope I'm not infringing any rule.I'm error opening file for writing totally new to OpenVPN.I've installed OpenVPn on XP SP3 as server, I haven't installed the client yet, following this tutorial http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EHSUwyuD1Xw. My goal is to create a VPN so a client can connect from Italy to the server https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2564571 in the UK and it can surf the net appearing to be in the UK. Everything went well and I was able to connect, but after a restart of the system when I try to connect I get the message: Error opening logfile for writing E:\Programs\OpenVPN\log\server.log You probably don't have administrator privileges, which are necessary to run OpenVPN.I'm the only user of the machine and I have administrator privileges. I'm running OpenVPN (ver. 2.1.3) as service https://forums.openvpn.net/viewtopic.php?t=13876 and I'm trying to connect from the GUI v1.0.3.Any help would be appreciate, thanks in advanceThis is the server log:Tue Sep 24 09:56:48 2013 OpenVPN 2.1.3 i686-pc-mingw32 [SSL] [LZO2] [PKCS11] built on Aug 20 2010Tue Sep 24 09:56:48 2013 NOTE: when bridging your LAN adapter with the TAP adapter, note that the new bridge adapter will often take on its own IP address that is different from what the LAN adapter was previously set toTue Sep 24 09:56:48 2013 NOTE: your local LAN uses the extremely common subnet address 192.168.0.x or 192.168.1.x. I would gladly create the required file location, but have no idea what it might be. Any clues would be appreciated - I really love my Evernote!! As a result mIRC will make the ‘program files folder’ not only the folder for the exe but for the scripts/logs/popups as well.
