So far I've triedsyncronize forms and reports in GP Utilities and set Synchronize=TRUE in dex.ini but neither have yielded any results. I tried to recreate the reports.dic by exporting and then importing the modified reports, however when exporting I'm getting this error for 6 of my reports: 'Key: Unable to set property Table to GL_Account_MSTR.' I'm not sure if this means if the reports were exported or not. Typically this error occurs when the Reports.dic is damaged or the GL Account Index Master is corrupt. I suggest that we recreate the GL00105 first, then recreate the reports dictionary again, and see if this corrects the problem for you. Please follow the steps in this KB to

Microsoft Dynamics GP
Error Registering Table GL_Account_MSTR
After clicking OK on the first error message a second one was displayed:Microsoft Dynamics GP
Unhandled script exception
Clicking OK again dismissed the error, but I could not do anything involving accounts. I'm not sure what caused the error to appear as I had used the client earlier in the day and not had the same problem. The resolution was actually fairly simple, but it took me a few minutes to work it out. Open the Dex.ini file located in, by default, C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics\GP2015\Data and change Synchronize=FALSE to Synchronize=TRUE. Once you have made this change, save and close the file and log back in Microsoft Dynamics GP ainstalled the workstation, you launch it and are greeted with this: What to do? You'll be delighted to know that this is an easy fix. The problem comes up when folks copy the Dynamics.set file to one worksation from another before they http://dynamicsconfessions.blogspot.com/2012/09/when-things-go-wrong-error-registering.html synchronize the existingDynamics.dic to the systems account framework. All you need to do is change http://mpolino.com/gp/dynamics-confessor-blogspot-when-things-go-wrong-error-registering-table-gl_account_mstr/ the the dex.ini file so that the following entry exists: Synchronize=TRUE Most likely, yours says FALSE You need to make sure you only have one of these entries in your Dex.ini file. If you have more than one, the first one rules. After you change the Dex.ini setting ( in the Data folder of your application folder), you'll need to launch error registering Dynamics Utilities in order to complete the synchronization process. Once the synchronization process is complete, the error should go away and Dynamics GP should launch. Don't ya' love all of the 'should's' in that dialog? Until next post! Leslie Thanks to David Musgrave's keen eye I changed this post to the correct setting. I had it backward originally. Unforgivable for the dex.ini queen. Hi LeslieYou need to change the Dex.ini setting toSynchronize=TRUEThis will force the Utilities to run and match the Account Framework in the Dynamics.dic dictionary to the settings in the tables.Note: If the settings in the table have been altered and are different from the actual account framework in the GL_Account_MSTR (GL00100) table, you will still have issues.Davidhttp://blogs.msdn.com/DevelopingForDynamicsGP/ September 17, 2012 at 8:34 PM Post a Comment Newer Post Older Post Home Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom) Search This Blog Loading...
