Now they are getting more specific in detail so hp 3800 fuser you can troubleshoot errors, like the 50.2 fuser error, making them easier and hopefully resolve the issue without buying unwanted parts. One important issue that has been known to cause problems with fusers is surge arrest or power strips. More and more electrical devices are being used in offices everyday. With that comes power strips to make sure everything can be

plugged in and used. LaserJets are like big heaters, they draw a lot of power so they need to be plugged into their own socket and make sure no other heating device like a coffee maker, copier, or space heater is plugged into the same circuit. These machines have a certain time frame in which to get to its correct operating temperature so if other large devices are drawing power on the same circuit it could cause these machines to work incorrectly possibly resulting in a 50.2 fuser error. If you were to call HP one of the first questions they always ask is if the machine is plugged straight into the wall or on a power strip or battery back up. The 50.2 fuser error is telling you the unit had an abnormal warmup. Sometimes a result of heavy usage or dealing with certain media types. Your HP Color Laserjet 3000, 3600, 3800, and CP3505 might start working again just by turning off and waiting a few minutes for it to cool down. HP 3600, 3800, CP3505 Fuser RM1-2763-020 HP Color La

The new Color LaserJet CP3505 (similar to the Color LaserJet 3000, 3600, 3800 series) has a firmware bug which can trigger a False http://printertechsforum.com/forum/showthread.php?2721-Tech-Tip-False-50-2-error-on-LaserJet-CP3505-only-on-envelopes "50.2 Fuser Error" when printing envelopes... If a user gets a steady "50.2 Fuser Error" when trying to print envelopes from the MP tray (envelopes only, not regular paper) -- you should upgrade to the latest firmware ... replacing the fuser will not help :-) Reply With Quote 09-17-2009,03:43 AM #2 cormandy View Profile View Forum Posts View Blog Entries View Articles Junior Member Join Date Sep 2009 Posts 13 I purchased the hp cp3505dn back in early 2008 as part of the hp trade-in programme, and I have been dogged by the "50.2 Fuser Error" problem ever since. Specifically, when printing an envelope when the printer is in "sleep mode", the printer receives the print job, wakes up, displays "Processing..." and about 90 to 120 seconds later displays the message "50.2 fuser error". The message appears regardless of firmware version, and was still happening with the latest cp3505 firmware as of July 2009 (CLJCP3505fw_win_03_021_2.exe 20090604 03.021.2). After 2 other unrelated calls to hp during the past year for the cp3505dn, I finally raised a call regarding this problem. The solution recommended by the hp call center chap was to change the printer wake-up mode from "save energy" to "faster first page". I even had an hp subcontracted engineer come in and a) confirm the late

My experience has been not to mess with remans. in color printers, I've seen problems with them in all color models as a tech they've created more headaches for me fuser error hp then they should.Being so new still its probably not worth buying remans yet, I know with some that we sell customers (for monocrome) that the savings on newer machines is only $30. To me thats not worth it because we get called out lots of time only to find out its a bad reman. by Sharpie on Oct 4, 2006 at 5:15am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 I'm getting a 50.2 Fuser Error (3 in two days, most recently when trying to print envelopes)and have to take the fuser out, reseat it and turn the machine off. This is a huge waste of time since it takes the machine several minutes to come back on line. Would replacing the fuser solve this problem? The Control Panel instructions say if it continues to contact HP service. Is there anything I can do for this problem before I call a service technician? Thanks! by DMSLTK on Aug 18, 2009 at 2:25pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 I have heard of issues when printing envelopes. If only happening with envelopes see if there is a fuser setting someplace for different types of media and if so play with those settings and envelopes.
