I don't know where the http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/posts/35902 fuser lamp is at, but it's a new fuser, so I don't think it could be bad. The old fuser didn't give the error, but my prints would have toner fog all over them, so I checked the manual and replaced the fuser and it hasn't worked since.Can someone please help me? This will cause dirty print jobs to appear on the paper. I double-checked all the cables, and I no longer get the message, so that's cool... I tried to print something, but the printer smells like it's burning, the roller below the toner cartidge was caked with toner, and barely anything transferred from the photoconductor to the paper.Any ideas? by riccardi on Feb 6, 2006 at 12:38pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Are you getting really light printouts? I ran into a problem where the toner cartridge was dumping toner onto the transfer roller, the one located below the toner cartridge. Turned out to be the (HVPS) High Voltage Power Supply.
