a 50.2 error. Unit has been sitting un-plugged. Thats not an issue. Most past models sent me directly to AC PS next. Does anyone recommend any other part to check? Respond to this 50.2 fuser error hp 5100 0 First make sure it is the correct fuser for that printer. The 4200 fuser 50.2 fuser error hp laserjet 4050 only works in a 4200 not like the 4250 which also works in the 4350. That said if the fuser is the correct 50.1 fuser error one with the correct voltage, the next item would be the dc controller followed by the low voltage power supply. by dmzcompute on Dec 6, 2006 at 4:27pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Wondering http://www.printertechs.com/printer-troubleshooting/11-50-2-fuser-error if you got this one figured out?I too have a 4200 showing the 50.2 error. Replaced the fuser and other parts from maintenance kit. The new fuser specifically has a "4200" sticker on it along with the part number: PM1-0013 / 110V. The part number is verified. The error persisted so I changed the DC Controller PCA. No joy, same error. Now I just changed the Power Supply and it still has the same error message, http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/posts/43061 50.2. The fuser is cold. The fuser connects directly to the power supply so both connectors and any inter-unit wiring have been changed out. by sstuart on Dec 26, 2006 at 11:29am Add comment Please sign in to comment I have seen alreasy about a dozen printers where the wrong fuser has been installed. If you have another 4200 fuser even if the teflon is bad just try anyway to see if the message goes away. - dmzcompute Am still having the same error,so what else can I do to resolve the problem? - Anonymous can you send vido that you maintain this fuser error or to change this fuser.thanks - Anonymous 0 Ohm out the fusers.http://www.partsnow.com/service_today/4200.aspLikely you have two bad ones. by Stephen on Dec 26, 2006 at 11:48am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 I have two hp 4250 printers having the same problems. If for some reason the thermistors don't read the correct temperature in the time allowed the HP laserjet 4200 will through a 50.2 fuser error to inform you that something inside the fuser or the engine control baord is malfunctioning. HP 4200 Fuser Assembly NEW RM1-0013Troubleshooting The Hp Laserjet 4200 50.2 Fuser ErrorFirst thing to try is just turning off and on the machine. I replaced one last week that was giving a 50.2 fuser error every few weeks for a few months before they finally got sick of it and called me out to replace it.Second, thing to check is were the power cable is plugged in. A lot of people don't realize that the fusers heat up between 350 to 425 decrees. Essentially they are heaters that draw a lot of power. given the fact that they draw large amounts of power they should be plugged straight into a wall outlet and make sure no other heating device is plugged into the same outlet or circuit.Third thing to check, if you just replaced it is if you were shipped the right fuser for the machine and voltage type. The 4240, 4250,4350, and M4345 fusers all look the same and fit into other machine but several of them are different and will not properly work. Also the 220v fuser fits in the machine but will not heat up properly giving poor print quality or errors like the fuser 50.2 fuser error.Last thing to try is leaving the machine unplugg
