If this is an intermittent error, you may want to check how the printer is plugged in, even ifit has worked on this surge device for months. If you cannot find anything jammed up or broken in the back of the printer, open the upper front cover of the printer and remove the toner cartridge. Look into the printer from the front. See if you can see anything jammed into the back area of the printer. If nothing appears to be jammed in the printer, the fuser unit or the main power supply of the printer will probably need to be replaced to fix this problem. It means either disassembling the fuser and replacing the thermistor ( if you can find one) or replacing the fuser assembly. by david belton on Mar 5, 2002 at 7:13pm Add comment Please sign in to comment Please sign in to comment Lexmark Optra S Buy discount ink Buy this printer More Lexmark questions © Copyright 2011-2016, FixYourOwnPrinter.com, Inc.
