How does it go about this? It says "FUSER ERROR". GCC wants a month and a half and $500 for a new fuser. What should I replace it with? The main thing it that it should be relatively fast - but most are now days. Maybe this is the time to justify a color laser printer. Anyway, this thing would cost about a grand to replace it with a similar gcc model. Then again, I'm not happy with GCC at the moment. It's auto duplexing, very fast, and cheap to maintain. I love it! I have mostly "Used" laser printers, and the ones I've been most happy with are HP's and a couple Apple LaserWriter 16/600's. I don't know what the "around $1000" best of breed in the new market is at the moment. Date: March 14, 2006 04:11PM Forgot to mention; I've been looking at the Xerox Phaser 6120N color laser for possible purchase for work... It sure LOOKS good on the surface! And at $500-ish, you can put that other $500 into spare toner, or some extra
