be remedied by removing the toner cartridge and pulling the paper out through there. Am I getting the error because of the paper jam? If so, how do I stop getting http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/posts/45950 paper jams? I've installed a maintenance repair kit but it doesn't seem to help with the jams. Does that spray stuff sold on this website help? We have a repair guy who sprays our rollers with something that usually seems http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=1584868 to do the trick (for a while anyway) but I don't want to pay him all the time to come out and spray our rollers! Please HELP! Respond to this 1 If you want to save a few bucks, I fuser error can supply you with just the heater portion of the fuser and an instructional video to replace it. It's real easy and you probably don't even need the video. The heater is what fails and gives the error, so you don't have to replace the whole expensive fuser or maintenance kit. Are you no longer selling??? - greybeards 0 50.3 has nothing top do with jams.DO not use "spray stuff" on the rollers. For black rubber rollers use:http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/specials/misc/chemicals/S03For gray rubber rollers take the roller out of the machine and wash it with soap and water, (whatever you use on your hands or dishes). The jam error code would help, jam codes always start with 13.Did the 50.3 error start before or after you installed the maintenance kit?Seems like you might need a different repair guy. by Stephen on Mar 14, 2007 at 6:35am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Thanks for the information. The fuser error started about 3 months after I installed the kit. by aeon33 on Mar 14, 2007 at 12:26pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 Then the fuser you installed failed. Was the kit bought from HP, or was it an aftermarket rebuild? by Stephen on Mar 14, 2007 at 3:35pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 I have seen that 50.3 error a couple of times where it actually picks up the paper and starts it moving and then the 50.3 comes on and the paper is stuck just before the fuser. As Stephen correctly stated replacing the fuser on both occasions solved the issue. by dmzcompute on Mar 14, 2007 at 5:4

RE: fuser error with a good fuser hpwizzard (IS/IT--Management) 4 Jan 10 06:45 50.2 is fuser warm up service error. You might want to check the Low PSU in the printer. It has two internal fuses where one is for the fuser heating element (F1). If the fuse is blown, it will generate 50.2 error. RE: fuser error with a good fuser mufka (ISP) (OP) 4 Jan 10 18:31 Fuses are ok. RE: fuser error with a good fuser hpwizzard (IS/IT--Management) 5 Jan 10 05:07 If the fuses are OK we must assume the power supply for the fuser is good and then the isssue would be located on the engine controller board where the fuser heater control is. If the heater control does not send a signal to activate the heating in the fuser it will also generate the 50.2 error if a thermistor is blown.ECU schematics -> http://www.countryfisher.com/images/temp/ecu.jpghttp://www.countryfisher.com/images/temp/ecu2.jpg RE: fuser error with a good fuser mufka (ISP) (OP) 5 Jan 10 13:17 I assume that replacing the ECB would likely fix the problem.Am I correct?
