50.4 Fuser Error with instructions to power the printer off to clear the error. When I hit the power button it does http://fixyourownprinter.com/posts/56730 not shut the printer off. Keep in mind you should always unplug the printer for at least 20 minutes before replacing the fuser. by dmzcompute on Jun 23, 2008 at 6:19pm Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 This error can be caused by the wrong fuser being installed, but I think you probably need a new fuser control board. If I remember correctly, the board is located to the right of the fuser. by MMurray on Jun 25, 2008 at 4:12am Add comment Please sign in to comment 0 I think the problem is the Dc controller but check and this: Reinstall the fuser, and check theconnector (J5001) that connects thefuser and the printer. Replace theconnector if it is damaged. by charlies cy on Jun 25, 2008 at 11:49pm Add comment Please sign in to comment Please sign in to comment HP Color LaserJet 4700N Buy discount ink Buy this printer More HP questions © Copyright 2011-2016, FixYourOwnPrinter.com, Inc.
