It come back saying error 8567. (8567: WPCOM_INFO_NOT_BCEF "Data not in BCEF format" BCEF stands for Buffered Compressed Encrypted Format. It's the way we compress/encrypt data across transports and to disk. I'd have to know more about when/where this error occurs to guess at why it's happening. As a result of Novell's experience with this error, the following was groupwise error 8567 found: When this error occurs, there was typically a problem with a machine some where on the network that has messed up the packets. Lanalyzer traces usually reveal things like a bad network card (sending out garbage) or something along those lines. Something between the Client and the POA has damaged the data. The GroupWise agents expect the first four bytes to be the BCEF indicator and the 8567 error is returned when that is not the case.) Taken from Novell tech support website. But it is fine when connected via LAN but the problem is via dial up. The errors occured with in a few days of each other, one user is on 95 the other 98, both have different laptops, they connect to different post office servers, and live about 300 miles apart. The Novell website doesnt offer much support. I was wondering if any of you guys/girls might use it/support it. ThanksThere's no place like 127.0.0.1 Pentium 4 D925 Dual 3.0Ghz 2Mb cach each.
