Environment Novell GroupWise 2014 Situation S/MIME verification error launching GroupWise..'Verification of S/MIME component failed.'grpwise.exe is by itself in the startup folder. Resolution Remove grpwise.exe from startup folder.Replace it with a shortcut to the grpwise.exe the place where GroupWise install placed it. Cause Supporting components for the grpwise.exe were not in place to defray the error. Selecting Tools, Options, Certificates gives the "no security service provider is available for viewing certificates" error. change Applied the F32EP4F5.EXE client patch. fix This was fixed in GroupWise 5.5 Enhancement http://www.novell.com/support/kb/doc.php?id=10066208 Pack SP4 or later.
