Memory Card Error On Camera
Junior Member Join Date Mar 2009 Location Singapore Posts 13 SDHC memory card error I inserted a generic 16 GB SDHC memory card in my Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ 5 after formatting it with the memory card lock broken Panasonic SD card software. When I switched on the camera, a message "Memory Card Error. Memory Card Parameter Error" splashed on the lcd screen. I tested this card on a Canon Powershot SD870IS and it worked fine. When you switch on you get the error message and the cam just won't function. This model is compatible up to 32GB SDHC card according to Panasonic website support. Another 4 GB SDHC memory card works fine. 03-17-2009,07:14 AM #5 graphics12 View Profile View Forum Posts Senior Member Join Date Dec 2001 Posts 4,089 Most cameras use the standard FAT32 addressing system from Windows. Format the card in a Windows computer and then try it in the camera. Another alternative is to format the card in another device say a pocket computer, or another camera and then try it in your camera.
