Error: "3038,104" appears on my Norton product This error can occur after you upgrade your Norton product. To fix the problem, run LiveUpdate and restart norton error 3038 and 104 the computer. STEP1 Run LiveUpdate Start your Norton product. In the main norton error 3035 6 window, click Security, and then click LiveUpdate. When Norton LiveUpdate is finished, click OK. You may see the Remove Only button if your Norton product is from your service provider. Click Remove Only. Click Continue or Remove. Click Restart Now. Before installing SP1 RC1, my Norton Antivirus 2008 would complete a full system scan fine. After installing SP1 RC1, I began getting an error message at random points norton error during the scan process. The error message says: "Error: "Norton AntiVirus has encountered an internal program error." (3038,107)" I decided to uninstall SP1 RC1 to see if the problem went away. Sure enough, it did and I can now successfully complete a full system scan again. Has anyone else had this problem? I haven't seen any other reports norton error 3038 of this error in conjunction with SP1. Anyway, just wanted to report it. I've just challenged Norton to post this fix on there website, rather than only posting the back end of the fix as they have now. I won't hold my breath but this worked for us last night on our home PC. Boot up in Safe Mode, (or if you're a DOS freak with a DOS prompt). Delete everything in your Recycle Bin that you don't need.
