Now, when I try to do an image backup I receive the following error: Error E7C3000F: Device \\?\SymantecSnapshot0 cannot read 7872 sectors starting at LBA 96472. --Error EBAB03F1: The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error. I ran chkdisk which fixed many bad clusters. I even did a disk defrag. Unfortunately the error persists. I am not experiencing any other problems with my computer at all. In fact my pc runs very well in all aspects. Any suggestions? It could just be corrupted. Lets run check disk on the external drive.. and see if it has errors.Click start, notice that below "all programs", theres a small text box that says "search programs and files" In that text box type in, command ( dont hit enter, just type it iin)on the left side of the screen.. You will see command prompt pop up as a choice. right click on command prompt, and left click on run as admin..inside of the command prompt type inchkdsk E: /r/x ***** Replace E: with the letter of the drive you are trying to back up to.. ******* let checkdisk try to r
