Norton Ghost 15 Posted: 27-Sep-2010 | 5:58PM • 4 Replies • Permalink Hello, I was loving Norton Ghost 15, it was running fine, Then suddenly I get the splash screen when trying to run the program followed immediaetly by: - Norton Ghost VProConsole has stopped working Can anyone run me through some troubleshooting so I can get this working again. Backups have been important and the program has worked great until now. I have tried a numebr of troubleshooting tips on the board already but can't seem to find a solution? Thanks! Norton Ghost 15 Posted: 27-Sep-2010 | 7:28PM • Permalink Did you try to run (as administrator) Fixinstall.bat in C:\Program Files (x86)\Norton Ghost (64-bit) or C:\Program Files\Norton Ghost (32-bit)? Norton Ghost 15 Posted: 28-Sep-2010 | 8:31AM • Permalink Thanks! I've tried deleting the User Config file, I did run the Norton Removal Tool and then did a fresh?? install. I tried running the Fix Install Tool, unfortunaetly I recieved the same result. The only things really to change on the system were added Office 2010 64-bit, added now freshly removerd Kaspersky virus protection, and I had to reload some of my Adobe CS5 suite. Bizarre, very stubborn problem to fix. Hoping to get in touch with Norton tech. support to send a log in.
