Re: VMWare Converter: (A file I/O error occurred while accesssing ". ) ivivanov Jun 9, 2015 8:41 AM (in response to gibsonfirebird12) Hm, just a wild guess, but can you try to connect to Converter Server using IP address instead of connecting to local server? I mean you would still connect to the local server, but through the network interface. If you have installed it locally on the source then you can connect to 127.0.0.1. If you have installed Converter in local mode (default) then you would need to run the installer again, select the Modify option and add the Remote connection feature. If this doesn't help you can try to install the Converter Server on another machine and point it to the physical source. " An I/O error occured when writing this file" any idea why it is suddendly doing this? i have used paint.net for 3 years now, and its the first time i have had this message
 HoNdA_mX 0 Members 0 11 posts LocationAustralia, VIC Posted January 29, 2009 if you are overwriting an existing file, save it as a different name, therefore it isn't "writing to a file", rather it's "making a file". Format your hard drive if you have a disc to install the OS again and a key. Or defrag it at least every 2-3 weeks. Also CCleaner can remove heaps of old files and make your PC run smoother, when i first used it, it removed 10 GB of bloody potato. It used to be called bloody potato Cleaner Don't know if this helps, let me know
 Bob 3 Members 3 2,704 posts LocationLyon, France Posted January 29, 2009 Your hard disk is dying.
 Create an account or sign in to comment You need to be a member in order to leave a comment Create an account Sign up for a new account in our community.
