I had the same issue until I burned another ISO image. Boot with the live CD and remove all references to it from /etc/fstab (comment them out!) and see if you have enough of a system remaining to boot up! Tem um teste que se faz para ver se o arquivo.iso que vc baixou está corrompido. É o MD5. Vc pode fazer esse teste antes de queimar outro CD. Diz-se que quanto menor a velocidade de gravação, melhor o CD fica.
