The required data was not placed into memory because of an I/O error status of 0xc000000e. I have restored and had window repair, but nothing seems to work. Not sure what I have recently downloaded, I don't download much. I do have back up disks for my computer, but not really sure what to do. Report • #1 xryanx May 11, 2010 at 20:49:14 ✔ Best AnswerTry running the check disk utility that's built into Windows, by going to the command prompt (Click on Start, go to Run, and then type in Cmd.exe) and type in the following without the quotes " Chkdsk" and press enter, this will scan your drive to make sure everything is in working order. Windows got glitchy once night so I rebooted, but when Windows started up it was incredibly slow and incredibly unstable. Desktop icons weren't loading, and if I did click an icon it would take forever to load before ultimately failing.
