A file I/O error has occurred" (Adobe Pro 8.0). I received this error when I was trying to saved a PDF file over 2GB. I identified the issue to be "Allow fast web view". This option does not allow the output file to be very big! Solution: From Tool bar select 'edit' --> References --> from Categories select "Internet"--> and deselect "allow fast web view" Good luck, and I hope this should be the solution for others as well! https://s.yimg.com/h

It looks like this error happens when the file size exceeds 1GB. Will see if I can confirm that elsewhere. EDIT: Actually, read this and see if it applies.
